Photos of books listed always available on request. Open Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 6pm plus occasional Sundays and Mondays (phone to check if you are travelling to us on those days.) Late opening Thursdays till 8pm . Tel. 01732 363000. Address: 142 High Street, Tonbridge, Kent, TN9 1BB. Established in 2004, MR. BOOKS has around 15,000 rare, out of print and secondhand books on a huge variety of subjects. We have built up an impressive range of signed modern fiction firsts which aren't always listed on abebooks so please do call us if you have any particularly collections you'd like to add to. The stock is being constantly replenished so it's always worth visiting us if you're in the area. We also stock some new titles and are able to order any new books in print within a few days.
You'll find us at the north end of Tonbridge High Street, very close to the medieval Castle in the heart of the old part of Tonbridge, which is an ancient market town surrounded by the beautiful countryside of Kent. Tonbridge is very accessible, being only thirty odd miles from London, on the main railway line and close to the M25, via the A21. It's worth combining a trip to Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells which is only around four miles south. See mrbooks.co.uk for directions to the shop.

All books are sold in good faith with as accurate descriptions as possible. For this reason we have a tiny amount of returns out of the many thousands we sell. If you are unhappy on receipt of your purchase then please contact me by email or phone. You will be refunded the cost of the book if there are reasonable grounds for your dissatisfaction. Damage in transit and losses in the post are covered by my PBFA recommended insurance.
Orders always shipped within 2 business days. Usually there are no extra postage charges for heavy books for UK based customers, although there may occasionally be for overseas customers. Where extra shipping costs are required we will notify you first and you will have the option to accept or decline.
