Enid Blyton
Enid Blyton is one of the UK's most well-known and well-loved authors.
And having written over 700 children's books and over 10,000 short
stories, she also happens to be the most prolific author of all time.
Blyton was born in South London in 1897 and had her first book published
at the age of 25. Some of her successful series include The
Famous Five, The
Secret Seven, The
Faraway Tree, and The
Adventure Series. However, perhaps her most famous series
was the adventures of Noddy.
