Hannes Blum
Hannes Blum graduated with honours in 1995 from the technical university Karlsruhe, majoring in Industrial Engineering and Business. In addition to a pre-study apprenticeship in the electrical industry and several internships abroad, Hannes worked for the Boston Consulting Group from 1996 to 1999 before he co-founded JustBooks. Besides he is still preparing for his PhD at the Graduate School of Management (WHU), Koblenz.
Dr. Boris Wertz
Dr. Boris Wertz successfully finished his post grad-studies in logistics at the Graduate School of Management (WHU), Koblenz in 1999. Majoring in Business Economics / Business Management, he graduated with honours. His studies included a one year dual diploma programme in France at the Ecole Supérieur de Commerce de Lyon. In addition he completed a one-term programme in business administration at the University of Bath. Dr Boris Wertz was an independent consultant between 1998-1999.

Brent James
Brent brings a strong management and marketing background to abebooks.com. He has worked with some of British Columbia's most successful technology companies including Mobile Data International (MDI), and Richmond-based Mobile Data Solutions Inc. (MDSI), a company that he helped found and grow and take to the public market. He currently sits on abebooks.com's Board of Directors. Mr. James holds a Masters of Science degree in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.), and an undergraduate degree in Commerce from the University of British Columbia.
