The trilogy beat out Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, The Catcher in the Rye, and The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, among other perennial favorites, to triumph in the long-running series in which three quarters of a million votes were cast. |
