Zweitausend Exemplare von "The Lyrical Poems of Francois Villon" wurden auf Curtis Rag-Papier von The Meriden Gravure Company gedruckt und in speziell für diese Ausgabe aus Holland geliefertem Leinen gebunden. Das Buch wurde von The Stinehour Press in Lunenburg, Vermont, gedruckt. Es ist das erste Buch, das von dieser Presse unter Verwendung von Galliard, einer neuen Schrift von Matthew Carter, entworfen wurde. Die Ornamente, aus denen die Vorsätze bestehen, wurden von Renaissance-Originalen, von Matthew Carter für Mergenthaler Carters Version adaptiert, erscheinen hier zum ersten Mal in einem gedruckten Buch.
