Book Description: Puffin Books London, 1976. Soft cover. Book Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. EXTREMELY RARE, POSSIBLY UNIQUE. When Maurice Sendak signed this little book he said it was the only copy of this edition he had ever signed. This copy is Near Fine, and the artist has signed it 'For Peter, Maurice Sendak'. The Peter referred to is me, and I was fortunate to obtain several signatures from this wonderful artist, as well as, in a few instances, an original drawing, added to the signature. This great Jarrell story was issued in the UK in paperback only. This copy also has my blind stamp and signature on the half title. Dare I say it, but it seems this is truly a UNIQUE SENDAK SIGNED COPY. the only one in existence. Signed by Illustrator(s). Bookseller Inventory # ABE-2704729860

Book Description: Kestrel Books London, 1979. Hardcover. Book Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Possibly a unique copy of this charming book.
