Pictorial Hard Cover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Mae H. Scannell (illustrator). 3rd Printing. The cover has dark blue cloth. The endpapers have an illustration in blue and white. This is a title of the publisher's Just Right Books. The main characters are dogs. Six stories; brown, orange, black, and white illustrations. The ends of the spine strip are frayed; the boards' front corners are less so. The pastedown on the front board is heavily chipped on the left and right sides, a little so on the bottom edge, and one corner has a water stain. A gift inscription is on the half-title page. About a sixth of the pages have a stain(s); the largest and darkest is on the bottom margins of two facing pages. One page has a 2 in., peeled tear that is tipped back together with glue.
