Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. Cover art for "Cahoots" by Gilbert Stone / back cover photo by Richard Avedon (illustrator). 1st Edition. Not books but a pair of 12-inch, 33-1/3 rpm stereo vinyl record albums. The first, "Stage Fright," 1980, Capitol SW-425, near-mint vinyl in a near-mint cardboard jacket, features "The Shape I'm In," "Strawberry Wine," and, of course, "Stage Fright." Lime green label. The enclosed 12-X-19-inch sepia tinted photo portrait of the band had separated at the fold; we have secured the two pieces together with some small pieces of ("Scotch") tape to verso only. Reduced from $16. THE SECOND ALBUM IN THIS LOT, "Cahoots," 1971, Capitol SMAS-651, near-mint vinyl in a very-good-plus gatefold cardboard jacket, features mostly Robbie Robertson originals but also Dylan's "When I Paint My Masterpiece." Van Morrison co-writes and performs on "Pantomime"; Allen Toussaint performs on "Life Is a Carnival," which is credited to Danko-Helm-Robertson. Also with lime green labels, here reduced from $14. The pair of albums by "The Band from Big Pink" now reduced from $30.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. 360 pp. Tightly bound. Corners not bumped. Text free of markings. No ownership markings. No dust jacket. Remainder mark bottom fore-edge. NOTE: The primary reason for the lower "good" rating is because there is a bump to the lower edge of the back board at the heel of the spine resulting in one 1/2" tear to the cloth at that point.
