Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. Art of the Northwest, 1981. Orange, textured cloth bound sm. quarto (8 1/2" X 11 1/2") in worn pictorial dust jacket. Inscribed by the artist on an early page beneath an illustration of a Native American warrior on a rearing horse. I can't tell if the illustration has been modified or created for this volume or not; it's not credited anywhere and appears to at least have fresh highlights in it. The extremities are bumped and there's a worn spot on the rear cover. A few color illustrations among the black and white. E1. Inscribed by Illustrator(s).

Hardcover. Original edition. 93pp. Quarto [26 cm] Blue and light black patterned cloth covered boards with gilt stamped titles. Very good. The gilt stamped titles are a little rubbed. The edges of the pastedowns are barely perceptibly yellowed. The sewn binding is fragile in a few places, however the book is still very sturdy and the pages are intact. In a good only dust jacket. Mildly rubbed. The front panel is lightly soiled, and the rear panel is more heavily soiled. The edges have numerous short closed tears, and there is a 2 inch long closed tear in the bottom edge of the front panel. There is an old price sticker on the rear panel. The first book to be written about the western artist from Montana.
