Pages and plates are moderately tanned and foxed, but text and photographs remain clear. Binding is firm. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and some scuffing to edges. Spine and edges are moderately sunned, with noticeable crushing and splitting to ends. Light rubbing and scuffing overall, with a few small black marks.

Inside is very nice except for a bit of light foxing on first and last 3-4 pages. Many B & W illustrations. Red cloth cover has fading, some soiling and marks, and red cloth tape on spine that is coming loose, spine is intact under the tape. Light pencil notes on last blank page.
