Signed and inscribed by the author to the front free endpaper. In specially made red paper covered slip case [Gilson M638] The boards are clean and bright and the corners firm. There is a small chip to the edge of the spine label. Internally there is just the author's inscription. There is just a little spotting mainly to the edge of the text block. A scarce signed copy of this investigation to the trial of Jane Austen's aunt for theft.
