Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. Second edition, probably 1935. Text tight, clean, in as-new condition except for slight age-yellowing towards page edges. Inside front cover has written in faded ink, " To my friend Capt. H. L. Ross, with the compliments of the author, W. G. Mackendrick, in appreciation of your Legion labors". Binding is dark blue cloth with gilt lettering. Binding is clean but is slightly faded on the front cover and the spine. The jacket is cream colour with brown lettering. The jacket edges and spine are darkened from age and handling. The front of it has small tears and a larger (1 & 1/2 inches) tear at the bottom edge and a small triangle torn from the top edge. Jacket back cover has a 2' tear close to the spine and a small piece missing at the top left edge. Spine has small piece missing at the top. Otherwise the jacket is still firm but with rough edges.
