Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. A fine copy bound in dark green cloth lettered in gilt, spine lettering gilt, no names or plates. ; excellent source of the early history Provo including the Provo Indian wars, Indian troubles, famine, pioneer life, the rivers, lakes, Brigham Young Academy and University, fraternal societies, clubs, Military organizations, sports along with its political affairs, public institutions and much more.; 5.5" x 7.75"; 414 pages;
paperback, 15x23, geillustreerd, 224 pagina's. ISBN 9789460040030. 0 g.

Paperback. Reprint. SIGNED. 414pp. Octavo [21.5 cm] Yellow and black illustrated wraps. With a dust jacket. Very good. The wraps are faintly creased, and the spine is ever so slightly rolled. There is a small light stain on the bottom edge of the text block. The bottom corners of the pages at the beginning of the text are gently bumped. The dust jacket is in good condition. Mildly rubbed, creased and age-toned. There are numerous losses from the edges of the jacket. The largest loss is from the paper at and near the head of the spine, and measures 3 inches wide by 1 inch at its deepest. There are multiple closed tears along the edges and folds as well. The longest closed tear measures 2 inches long. Inscribed by the publisher, Simon K. Benson, The Scribbler, on the dedication page. From the dust jacket- "Through the republication of this volume combining as it does, two rare histories of early Provo- you now have an opportunity to purchase Early Pictorial Provo by William M. Wilson, an Early History of Provo by J. Marinus Jensen. Both were long out of print, and they will live again in this nostalgic voyage into the past.".
