There is some, discoloration inside the covers and some pages still need to be separated. 312 pages, interior appears clean and binding intact and in quite nice shape for a work over a century old. An excerpt from Mr. Bush's Foreword appears on the rear cover and is attributed to "The Honorable George W. Bush" instead of George H.W. Bush. Long-time Houston minister, James Thomas Bagby (1911-1998), reflects on his life and ministry. Bagby was a founding rector of St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Houston, Texas in 1952, where the Bushes were long-time members and where both had their funeral services in 2018, Mr. Bush's following a national service in Washington, D.C. A signed greeting card from the Bagbys is laid in. 76 pages with black and white photographs, including a photo before the Foreword of Vice President Bush with the Bagbys and a photo at the end of the book of Tom Bagby and Ronald Reagan in the Oval Office at the White House.
