Marvelous copy, SIGNED by Welty on the title page, and also INSCRIBED by Fields and Chodorov (in just one hand) on the front free endpaper in the year of publication: "To Gertrude Berg: Here's to our future together. Sincerely, Joe and Jerry. October 25, 1956." Berg was a well-known stage and television actress, best known as star, producer, writer, and creative force behind "The Goldbergs." A delightful copy, rather well-preserved, to boot.

Talbot Holland's copy; Holland was a Broadway actor who played the part of "Al" in this production. The book is signed by about 20 cast members, including Sarah Marshall, the lead actress who won a Theatre World Award for her portrayal of Bonnie Dee Ponder.
