Softcover. Octavo. 37 pp. Issued as Haldeman-Julius "Big Blue Book" B-713. One of many brief treatises on unconventional sexual practices issued by Haldeman-Julius in the Thirties and Forties. Scant attention has been paid to Haldeman-Julius's pioneering role in exposing [and legitimizing] alternative sexual practices to the American public, but his pamphlets were one of the few reputable, sympathetic sources of such information for non-professionals. Though widely distributed at the time, most of these works are now surprisingly scarce both in commerce and in institutional holdings. **OCLC** finds ten [10] copies in U.S. research university libraries, the New York Public and San Francisco Public Libraries. Very Good in staple-bound, printed card wrappers that have some light creasing around the bottom edges.
