This First Edition of Recollections of a Forty-Niner has wear on the covers and spine from age and use. There is a small tear along the back edge of the spine and slight fraying and discoloration around the edges of the cover. The inside of the book has some pulling away from the spine but the pages are all still intact. There is some darkening of pages with age but the inside text is clean with no marking or highlighting. Overall in good condition for the age of the book (112 years old!).
