Undated, probably ca 1910.

Last line on final page reads: "Raphael Tuck & Sons, Ltd., London, Paris, Berlin, New York, Montreal. Publishers by special appointment to Their Majesties the King and Queen". Green cloth spine, cream pictorial boards, 104 numbered pages plus 8 unnumbered pages of ads. Charming illustration of Little Red Riding Hood by Agnes Richardson on front. Other artists with works represented: A.M. Cook, Janet Murray, Hilda Cowham, Frances Brundage. Eight coloured plates. Lightly bumped and rubbed on ends of spine, spine wrinkled but lettering and Tuck logo clearly visible, boards rubbed along edges, faint red "601" on front top corner, corners worn and bowed. Front darkened, smudged and surface-rubbed but illustration still vivid. Rear smudged, vertical strip of paper (3/4 x 1/4 inch) missing from lower corner near spine (green binding showing though underneath). Backstrip pulled away from binding, cracked at ffep and rear paste-down and spine showing at page 17, boards shaky but internal binding tight. Red "60 1" stamped on ffep (5/8 x 1/4 inch), light foxing on front and rear endpapers, 1/4 inch tear on bottom edge of page 26. Light staining, smudging and thumbing throughout - but colour illustrations spotless. Overall - good. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
