Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. photographic (illustrator). 1st Edition. First editions of both volume one and volume two. Volume one published by G. P. Putnams in 1942 and bound in gray buckram. Volume two is published by the Academy Library Guild of Fresno California in 1956. Volume two is bound in a slightly coarser gray cloth. Both volumes with black letter boxing to the spine. Volume one is near fine with a slight trace of extremity rubbing and a bookplate to the front paste down ( Jane and Howard Tayler. ) The book has been inscribed to Mrs. Howard M. Tayler in 1944. Volume two also near fine with light bumps to lower corners and bookplate to front paste down ( James Strohn Copley ). Volume two has been inscribed to John Burnham with affectionate appreciation to his mother; Mrs. Daniel Hudson Burnham. Two references to the latter are noted in the volume two index, and an additional nine to Mr. Daniel Hudson Burnham. The dust jacket for volume one has a short triangular chip to upper edge and an abrasion to the forward panel fold ending in a nailhead sized chip. There is a pinhead sized chip to the head of the spine. The dust jacket of volume two has a faded strip to the front panel at the top edge and short tears to edges of rear panel. Light chipping to the head of the spine. Both volumes copiously illustrated, with a number of plates in full color. In all, a nice set of the first editions of this two volume tribute to Keith, both volumes inscribed and in dust jackets. Please allow for priority or international shipping commensurate with weight of both volumes. Inscribed by Author(s).
