Interesting gift inscription, contemporary with the book's publication, on half-title page, from a Private in Company G, 14th infantry, Fort Davis, Canal Zone. Bottom board edges rubbed. Front panel bottom board tip rubbed through. POOR dust jacket is in a sheet of Brodart but suffered greatly during its life before. Chips, tears, erosion, and paper loss abound.
