A profusely illustrated catalog (175 plates including 20 in full color) of a limited selection of objects in a 1940 exhibition at MoMA. The contents (200 pp., plus map end papers and a bound-in Corrections sheet) are lightly age tanned. A prior owner's name appears at the top of one of the front blank end papers, but the contents are otherwise clean and securely bound. Burgundy cloth boards with spine lettering and an upper board decoration being stamped in purple. The boards have light rubbing in the corners and in the spine's head and tail edges. Includes the front flap and cover only of the original dust jacket. This partial dj has chips in the spine corners and other, generally light edge wear. NOT an ex-library copy!.
