Das Buch ist auf dem vorderen Innendeckel von Josephine Baker signiert. Dem Band liegen 2 Originalaufnahmen von Josephine Baker (Ilse Steinhoff Stuttgart-Degerloch 24 x 18 cm) bei. Ebenfalls beiliegend ist eine Einladungskarte zu einer Veranstaltung in der Paulskirche in Frankfurt am 19. Dezember 1957 bei der Josephine Baker eine Rede hielt. Eine deutsche Übersetzung der in englisch gehaltenen Rede liegt ebenso bei wie ein Programmablauf mit Nennung der Beteiligten. Die weltberühmte Sängerin J. Baker (1906-75) ist auf dem Umschlagbild inmitten von acht der von ihr adoptierten Kindern verschiedener Nationen und Rassen abgebildet. "Die Regenbogenkinder" - so nannte Josephine Baker ihre 12 mit Joe Bouillon adoptierten Kinder verschiedener Hautfarbe. - Der niederländische Illustrator Piet Worm (1909-96) war Autor und Illustrator zahlreicher holländischer Kinder- und Bilderbücher (Slg.
