July’s most expensive sales on AbeBooks

East of Eden by John Steinbeck was among AbeBooks.co.uk’s most expensive sales in July. We sold a signed first trade edition of Steinbeck’s classic novel published by Viking in 1952 for £6,659 but it was only No. 6 on the top 10. A rare atlas of Mexico was the top sale. A limited edition of Don Quixote illustrated by Salvador Dali also sold for £6,200.
