We are a small specialist bookseller. Our interests lie in the increasingly-forgotten texts that have chronicled the English countryside, from John Evelyn's Sylva and Fitzherbert's treatise on husbandry to the post war texts on planning, farming and the countryside. We buy small cartons of books and sell on those that we no longer have space for. Our passion for the books of the countryside means that we're great at finding presents for people with an interest in farming, the countryside, natural history, field sports and rural life.
