Cloth covered boards are black in color with gilt state seal on front (shows some wear); gilt lettering on the spine; boards are embossed with embossed state seal on back; little tear of the cloth at front fold; spine has browned with age; all four corners slightly bumped; some rubbing all over. All pages edges are yellowing; front page edges have a tiny white dot. In front of the title page is a paper 2/14' HIGH x OVER 5 1/4" LONG, that is part of the binding; hand written in black ink is "Compliments of James F. Brown Secretary". Text is clean and tight.
