In happier times, the hotel has been host to movie stars, sports legends, world leaders, and other famous people. Filled with amusing and interesting behind the scenes stories. Profusely illustrated with b/w photographs. Index. Facsimile signatures from many Hollywood greats on endpapers. Includes laid in color photograph of Roddy McDowell and flyer for the Round Table West monthly luncheon program for authors circa 1992). Gold glossy hard cover with green titling and decoration on front, green titling on spine. Covers show light wear and scuffing, mild bumps at corners.
