Current favourites: The Oxbow Incident, inspired by a spring hike in Griffiths Woods, Calgary. The only thing I knew about oxbows then was that there was a book by that name. Once I learned what they are (a kind of spring runoff between switchback levels), I kept my eyes open for the book. It's a good read, a western, very well written in 1949, when the average adult still had a great deal of personal and recent information about frontier life. It reminds me a little of Brokeback Mountain, and I'll list the elderly paperback when I'm finished!

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
