STEPHANSSON, Einar P. Jonsson, Jakobina Johnson, and Thomas Hood. 32 pp.; 31 cm. NOTES: For solo voice with piano acc. Composer was born in Gimli, Manitoba in 1877. He was the first Icelander in North America to pursue music as a profession, according to H. Robert Rahn who wrote the booklet-biography entitled S. K. Hall. Hall was organist and choirmaster for the First Lutheran [Icelandic] Church in Winnipeg. He served for 30 years as organist and 17 years as choirmaster. He lived for a time in the U.
