Brand new 1st Edition/1st Printing hardcover and dust jacket. This beautiful volume combines the poignant letters of Lieutenant John James Peek, a soldier in the war with Mexico, and gorgeous 19th century color lithographs by artists including John Phillips, Carl Nebel, Daniel Thomas Egerton, Casimiro Castro and Captain D.P. Whiting. Although this is a brand new copy, the dust jacket does have a single 1.5" closed edge tear in the back panel. Otherwise, book and dust jacket are both flawless. Will be bubble-wrapped to protect the corners and shipped in a sturdy box to ensure safe delivery. Seller Inventory # ABH418
