Bookstore Terms

Prices do not include postage and packing. Payment must be received before books are despatched. Cheques should be made payable to Raymond Tait, and must be in UK pounds sterling (GBP). Please do not send money until we confirm that the book is available. If you are not satisfied with the description of a book, it may be returned within 14 days with prior notice, in the same condition as received, for a full refund. Books will be reserved for a maximum of 7 days.

Shipping Terms:

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. UK Orders: Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 lb, or 1 kg. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. If you are buying a paperback or another small book then the postage and packing will generally be around £2 for UK orders and I will reduce the charge before processing your order. I will generally send it first class so if you wish me to use second class then please ask and I will amend the charge accordingly. European Orders: Shipping costs are based on books weighing 700g. For European orders the difference between surface mail and air mail is generally insignificant so I have only quoted a price for air mail. I am in the process of updating my shipping matrix and not all European countries have been added so your shipping may appear high. Please note that I will adjust the charge I make if this is the case and postage to Europe will be lower than the rest of the world. Overseas orders: shipping costs are based on books weighing 700g. I will generally use whatever method is covered by the standard postage charge but if you specifically wish to have it sent surface or airmail or anything else please ask and I will amend the charge accordingly. Books are usually wrapped in bubblewrap and then in cardboard. Please ask if you have any particular requirements.
