Shipping Terms:
Orders usually ship within 24 hours.
We do not attempt to make money on shipping and handling, and we are frequently noted to refund postage both to Domestic and International buyers when the items are small or otherwise cheaper to ship than the Abebooks estimates.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING: Media mail is $3.75 for the first item, $2.25 for each additional. Priority mail is $5.50 and most always includes Delivery Confirmation. If additional postage is necessary, we will notify you, although we frequently absorb the additional cost ourselves as a small gesture of appreciation to our buyers.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: As of May 14th, 2007, the U.S. Postal Service eliminated Air Letter Post shipping. Please note international shipping is expensive. You can check the United States Postal Service, or USPS, website and estimate postage. Generally speaking, items weighing less than 13 ounces can ship by First Class Mail International for about $3.00 - $6.00, depending on location, but we strongly recommend insurance for expensive items, which is an additional $10.50. We routinely refund excess postage when using First Class Mail International.
Heavier or larger items ship by Flat Rate Priority Mail. There is an envelope that costs $12.95, or $10.95 for Canada and Mexico. We use this envelope as often as possible. It will accommodate most regular-sized books.
Books that do not fit in the envelope, or exceed weight limits will ship in Flat Rate Priority Mail International boxes of various sizes. Costs include $41.95 medium, or $53.95 large, or $25.95 or $32.95 to Canada or Mexico.
