Apparent water stains on edges inside back cover. Some rippling and faint stains at top of pages, does not extend onto the printed part of pages. Two pages dog-eared, creased but whole. Dark red cover, author/title possibly orginally gilt stamped, now greenish and yellow, but clear. Cover deeply rubbed but not torn at all edges and spine, two flecks of foreign color on front cover. dust embedded on edges of cover (it doesn't rub off).Numerous black and white photos well reproduced on slick paper. No jacket, other sellers declare this is as issued. Based on oral interviews Twenty chapters, mostly biographical, with some on incidents or places. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
