Number 8 of this innovative periodical of contemporary Italian graphic design created by managing director Raffaele Bassoli as a promotional vehicle for the printing company Edizione Della Bassoli Fotoincisioni of Milan. Contents consist of loose folded posters, booklets, folders of printed material and photographic lay-outs printed in a variety of configurations and on a variety of paper stocks designed to illustrate the range of the printers capabilities. Edition limited to 1000 copies of which this is number 897. Contents of this issue include : A colour illustrated introduction by Raffaele De Grada printed on a loose folded sheet. Table of contents sheet. Colour anatomical drawings by Floriano Bodini with quotation from Berengario da Carpi printed on both sides of a folded poster. A poem by Raffaele Carrieri printed on an 8vo folded sheet with facsimilie version on the verso and a printed version on the recto with an English translation on the front panel. A colour plate reproduction of a painting by Attilio Flora loose in folder with instruction booklet laid in. Colour photography by Arno Hammacher on a folded poster with smaller alternate versions of the same image laid in with text by Antonio Arcari. A folded colour poster by Giancarlo Illprandi. A series of colour etchings of suburban factories and accompanying text by Ernesto Treccani printed on a fold-out sheet. A collection of advertising images outlined in ink on a fold-out sheet with colour versions printed on an attached overlapping tissue sheet by Antonio Tabet. Four folded posters in a colour printed folder by Enzo Belfanti with text by Raffaele De Grada. Red card printed wrappers. Bilingual Italian/English texts. Internally all pieces clean and unmarked with some age toning at the extemities depending upon the paper type used. Bumps to the opposing head and tail corners of some of the larger format pieces. Bump to the tail corner of the wrapper with sunning and paper wear to the head edge. Olive green coloured card slip case is bumped and split at the corners with tears and paper wear at the mouth, creasing along one edge and the number "8" hand printed in ink on one edge.
