Special edition of the review 'XXe Siècle'. This homage to Joan Miro (1893-1983) contains contributions by twenty-four artists and writers including Antoni Tapies, Roland Penrose, Ernest Hemingway, and Eugene Ionesco. Internally clean without marks or additions. Faint age toning at the extremities. Yellow ochre cloth covered boards with gilt titles on the backstrip and front panel. Light bumps to the head of the spine and to the tail corner of the front panel. Colour illustrated dustjacket has a 4 cm closed tear to the head edge and a 3 cm closed tear to the tail edge of the back panel. Minor wear to edges. Now protected by clear plastic book wrap.
