Edition: First Edition
Worn leather spine & paper-covered boards, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2, 72 pp. with old foxing & stains, text complete, includes the half title as well as the title page, lacks the front free end paper. OCLC 3833645 with 6 locations. "Printed for Mary Sweitzer, Corner of Fourth and Race-Streets." Mary (1778-1855) was the widow of Henry Sweitzer (1771-1807), a printer in Philadelphia. Henry printed an edition in 1803, which, I believe, was the second English printing in the United States after the 1797 edition by Abraham Blauvelt. John Thompson printed an edition (Frederick-town) in 1807. That makes this, as best as I can tell, the 4th English printing in the United States. Bookseller Inventory # 345
