Two 8.25" x 5.5" volumes. 369, 362pp. Green cloth with gilt lettering. Top edges gilt. Mild rubbing, small spot on the front board of volume two, else near fine condition. Selected and edited by George Dunning Gribble. Casanova was a Venetian adventurer and author. This memoir is regarded as one of the most authentic sources of the customs and norms of European social life during the 18th century.
