Þorsteinsson) and others plus translations into Icelandic of short stories from world literature.EDITOR BIO : The editor was a noted Icelandic-Canadian poet, editor, short story writer and writer of pivotal Icelandic-Canadian historical works - he lived in Winnipeg (source: Einarsson, History of Icelandic Prose Writers, pp. 247-8). OTHER : Einarsson calls the two-volume Fiflar as a "literary journal"; Hjartar places it in his bibliography under "translations" (it is both, to some extent though the editor's contributions as well as Gislason's are in the original Icelandic, hence not in translation).
