This is especially true of Fresno County ." The pamphlet is issued in connection with Pacific Coast Land Bureau headquartered in San Francisco, and the local [Fresno] agent W. P. Haber states "We are indebted to Mr. Theo. Kearney for facts and statistics taken from his excellent pamphlet recently published in England."The pamphlet is interesting and gives all kinds of statistics regarding climate, soils, crops, etc. Some of the values on acreage may surprising to some; the land boom in Riverside County of the 1970s and 80s offered similar acreage for sale with very similar prices to the pamphlet's "In Riverside naked land can be bought for from $200 to $00 an acre. .
