About this Item
The Dave Dawson aviation stories were classics of the WWII era. American Dave Dawson, with his English pal Freddy Farmer, roamed the skies throughout the world defeating the evil forces of Germany, Italy, and Japan. I have read most all boys' war series, and believe the Dave Dawson series to be the best ever. The dark-brown exterior is as close to perfect as you'll find in a 60 year old book. The interior is very clean and tight, with only yellowing of pages with age (very common with the high-acid paper used during wartime) and a neat ink inscription on the front pastedown. 246 pgs. + introduction to Dave Dawson at Casablanca.
