Facsimilie reproductions of two previously unknown sketch books of notes, designs, photographs and brochures dated 1928 and 1933 from designer Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999). Introduction, transcriptions and editing by Arthur Rüegg. Internally clean and unmarked with sound binding. Black paper covered boards with blind stamped titles on the backstrip. Sharp cornered with slight shelf soiling to the tail edges of the boards. Colour illustrated dustjacket is shelf worn and lightly soiled with circular glue stain from removed price sticker on the front panel, light rubbing, corner wear and handling. Now protected by plastic book wrap. Due to weight (1.85 kg/2.2 lbs + packaging) extra shipping charges are required for international orders. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. About the Author: Arthur Ruegg is a professor of architecture and construction at ETH Zurich and, together with Ueli Marbach, heads the architectural office arcoop in Zurich. He is also the author of numerous contributions and publications on modern architecture and product design.
