About Books and Beans
Books and Beans has been going since 2003. We’re situated in the heart of Aberdeen, Scotland on Belmont Street just off the main thoroughfare of Union Street.
We sell fantastic homemade soups, sandwiches, salads and panini as well as a range of excellent Fair Trade Coffee, Teas and Hot Chocolate. The atmosphere’s friendly and relaxed and you can choose to either stay in the main coffee area downstairs for your lunch or head upstairs to the main Bookstore, where you can browse our 15000 titles, or indeed munch your Soup and Sandwich!
Also in the Bookstore, we have 16 PC’s for high speed Internet Access.
We like to think we offer something for all tastes. You can have a coffee with a piece of cake in the morning and browse our books, stay for an excellent homemade soup for lunch, (best in Aberdeen!), and then check your e-mails before heading home! What more could you ask for!

Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. We will only add the cost which would be otherwise incurred by ourselves.
