Bar Harbor Used Books has been in business since the summer of 1998 and is located in Bar Harbor, Maine. My name is Russ and I am the owner of Bar Harbor Used Books. I have been in the book business since 1992 and I am a graduate of the Antiquarian Book School conducted by the ABAA. At one time I did have a year round open shop but I closed and now do all business via the internet. I take great pride in my work and my goal is to satisfy, you, the customer. All books are professionally wrap and packaged. All inventory is stored in a smoke free environment. I attempt to describe my books very accurately. Although, I am a small dealer, I do upload new listings daily. I do free book searches and free appraisals. Book finding is my pleasure and I look forward to serving you. I am always looking for new inventory and I will buy one volume or an entire library. All books with dust jackets are protected in a Brodart book wrap.
