Green cloth covers lightly scuffed, soiled on back cover, edge worn. Title reversed in green on gold title plates on front cover and spine. Few pages have dark spotting along edges, a few small check marks in pencil, marks from several paper clips, one page chipped, otherwise pages good. Autobiography of a Quaker minister in the late 19th century. He participated in setting up Western Yearly Meeting and traveled in the ministry during the Civil War. He was Superintendent for the Baltimore Association which gave relief to southerners. He later filled various offices at Earlham College and continued in service to the Society. RARE edition.
