Tall 8vo., gilt bands, gilt stamped black/green cloth in black/white/grey/blue-green price clipped dws, vi, 666pp; vi, 680pp. Some minor discolouration to upper right of rear panel of dw of Volume One with closed tear to middle foot of same rear panel, slight chipping and minor scuffing to dw of Volume Two, but otherwise a handsome set. While not completely unknown, O'Casey's Autobiographies perhaps constitute one of the most overlooked great works of the twentieth century. Originally published in the six volumes noted above.
