We specialize in global culture: exploration, ethnography, fiction and food. We are retired anthropologists who have specialized in Oceania, Europe, and the Pacific Northwest. We do not have a bricks and mortar store at this time but do show our books by appointment. Our online business began in 2005.

PAYMENT MAY BE MADE THROUGH ABE COMMERCE, OR CHECK/M.O. IN U.S. FUNDS. Idaho residents please add 6% sales tax. All items are subject to prior sale. All prices are net and do not include shipping costs. Customer pays for actual postage or shipping charge. Items purchased by check may not be shipped until the check clears. Please see ABE Return Policy for terms.
Shipping Terms:
Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. Some of our books are quite heavy so expect greater charges internationally. Overseas orders of $40 or more will have added insurance.
All international orders, including Canada and Mexico, will be shipped international flat-rate priority mail, if size permits. Otherwise they will be shipped international regular rate priorty mail, and the total amount will depend on package size and weight.
Express mail options are also available.
