Title: ABRAHAM LINCOLN, BRONZE CLAD BOOKENDS BY ...
Because these book ends are each impressed P. Beneduce on the base, I believe that they are Galvano by sculptor Paul Beneduce, who created many of their pieces. The bronze clad Galvano production method offered great quality, figures are very detailed and scarce in this condition. These are in very good condition. The only blemishes are on one of the bookends here is a small piece of the bronze clad missing under one of Lincoln's legs, but it's not apparent from the front and the boot on the same one has the toe bumped. There is a green felt bottom but no manufacturing stickers. Each bookend is approximately 7.5 x 4 x 5 inches and each one weighs about 3 lbs. Bookseller Inventory # 16232
