You think you know the story about Goldilocks and the Three Bears who have an encounter with a wolf? Think again! Mr Wolf and the Three Bears contains all the same traditional characters but has quite a different slant. Mr Wolf is holding a party for everyone to celebrate Baby Bear's birthday. Grandma comes to help, and they prepare lovely eats for each party goer; they even consult the Internet for recipe ideas! The party is ready, and just as Baby Bear arrives, who should barge in but Goldilocks? Pandemonium ensues, but Grandma saves the day as she deals with Goldilocks. This up-to-date book is beautifully written, (and it contains wonderful recipes) and the illustrations are bright and amusing.
