Book Description Condition: new. (Hardcover, 1992). 1992 1st edition. 4to (205 x 260mm). Ppviii,232. B/w photographs, illustrations. Green boards, upper board titled in gilt, spine untitled. Errata slip laid in. Author's copy in a different binding to most copies seen. Standard copies of this book were bound in plain green, untitled boards. This copy has been re-bound in slightly different green boards with the title stamped in gilt on the upper board. The boards are around 2mm taller than other copies and so the dust-wrapper doesn't quite fit. The first few pages have some pencil annotation, presumably in the author's hand, mostly correcting minor errors or omissions. Light browning to edges but good-plus in slightly creased dust-wrapper.
