About the Author:
Robert Young Pelton has been featured in publications around the world from Sunday Times and New York Times to Die Welt and El Pais. He has appeared on CNN and BBC as an expert on current affairs and travel safety, and hosts a television series for Discovery and the Travel Channel. He set up the world's first video interview of the never before photographed Taliban leaders. A Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, he is also a regular columnist for National Geographic Adventure.
