About the Author:

Terence J. Sacks is an independent writer-editor with more than twenty-five years' experience in communications. Sacks is a graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism and has strong credentials in the field of health care. He served as director of communications for the Chicago Medical Society and held positions in communications for the American Osteopathic Association, the American Association of Dental Schools, and for several hospitals around the Chicago area. He is the head of his own writing and communications firm, Terence J. Sacks Associates, and is active in the Independent Writers of Chicago and the American Medical Writer's Association.
